Toseland Tech 3 Yamaha in Qatar
James Toseland kicked off his MotoGP career in superb style, the British rider claiming a well deserved top six finish in the historic first night race in Qatar.
Brimming with confidence after he secured a maiden front row grid position yesterday, the 27-year-old showed no signs of any first race nerves with a flying start. Third at the end of a hectic lap one, he then climbed into second on lap two with a daring overtake on Jorge Lorenzo.
Toseland managed to finish the race in an excellent 6th place,
We have our very own Tech 3 Toseland replica coming from Dream Machine Superpaint very soon, get in touch for more details on this one off machine.

James Toseland is third in testing at Phillip Island
British rider James Toseland claimed a morale-boosting third place finish on the final day of testing at the Phillip Island circuit in Australia.
Toseland posted a fastest lap of 1.29.754.Only world champions Casey Stoner and Hayden were faster. Toseland though was one of only five riders to break the 1.30 barrier over the three days.
A best lap of 1.31.012 on race tyres left Toseland sixth quickest in race trim, with the likes of Loris Capirossi, Chris Vermeulen and Hayden behind him.
Toseland said: “I’m really happy. I was always looking forward to coming here with my track knowledge and its nice to see the difference where I stand in the order with that experience.
To be at the sharp end of the times and see my name up there has put a bigger smile on my face. I will sleep well tonight on the plane tonight after this performance.
Even one of my mechanics said that it is so good to see an English rider at that end of the timesheets rather than at the other end. And the best thing is I can only get faster and stronger".

Yamaha and Fiat celebrate their second year together at 2008 team launch in Turin
Yamaha and Fiat marked the second year of their MotoGP partnership at the official 2008 Fiat Yamaha Team Launch recently in Turin, Italy.
The new 2008 YZR-M1s, sporting an updated version of the Fiat Yamaha Team’s eye-catching white and blue livery, were unveiled. Yamaha’s double MotoGP World Champion Valentino Rossi was present at the ceremony alongside his new team-mate, 20-year-old Spaniard Jorge Lorenzo, who is making the step up to MotoGP after two years as 250cc World Champion.
“I’m very happy that we’re so close to the start of racing,” said Rossi, who will contest this season on Bridgestone tyres for the first time. “This is a very important year for us and our only aim is to win, although it’s going to be hard work. Everyone has been working very hard over the winter and I think our new bike is quite good, although of course we still have a lot of work to do. Everyone is very motivated and I know that we have the best team there is.”

Suzuki Announce BANDIT 1250 GRAND TOURING
Suzuki GB has announced the final specification and pricing for the new Bandit 1250 Grand Touring, which is due later this month.
Based on the hugely popular Bandit 1250SA, the new Grand Touring model features a large capacity luggage system, full-fairing and a Garmin Zumo satellite navigation system as standard, offering £1500 worth of extras over the standard ABS equipped model.
With a recommended retail price of just £6,799 the Bandit 1250GT retails for just £1000 more than the base 1250S, bringing exceptional value to the touring sector of the market.
As well as the very practical top-box and pannier system and additional fairing lowers, Suzukis bespoke Garmin Zumo Sat Nav system features for the first time on the new Bandit. With dedicated Suzuki software that lists all authorised UK dealers and a soon to be launched online resource that enables download of Suzuki waypoints and routes, the new system gives added flexibility by being transferable for car use too.

Chris Vermeulen to run no.7 in 2008
Rizla Suzuki MotoGP's Australian star Chris Vermeulen will run a new racing number on the front of his machine in 2008, using the number seven made famous by Suzuki's double World Champion Barry Sheene.
Vermeulen will have the iconic crossed seven on his Rizla Suzuki GSV-R from the start of the forthcoming season and will be hoping that the new number will spur him on to similar success as that enjoyed by his hero and mentor Sheene.
The 25-year-old Queenslander came to Europe to race in 2000, following the advice of Sheene, and he has always had an ambition to run the number seven on a Suzuki as a tribute to the 1976 and 1977 500cc World Champion, who lost his life to cancer in 2003. He has used 71 on his race machines in his first two seasons of MotoGP racing with Suzuki and when the chance came to change to seven - following Carlos Checa's departure from the Championship - Vermeulen jumped at the opportunity.
Vermeulen will race with his new number for the first time at Losail in Qatar on Sunday March 9th in the opening round of the 2008 MotoGP World Championship, when he will be joined by new team-mate Loris Capirossi who will still be using his familiar number 65 when he makes his debut onboard the Rizla Suzuki GSV-R.

The new Suzuki GSX650F now available in showroom
The new Suzuki GSX650F is now available for viewing in our showroom. This model has had a great reception from the British press. See below what Superbike Magazine had to say about the bike:
November 14, 2007 - Alan Dowds
SuperBike rides the new Suzuki GSX650F at the European launch in France ...
“If you just look at the spec sheet, Suzuki's new GSX650F is, essentially, a Bandit 650 in a party frock. But it's actually much better than that might suggest. OK, the motor is similar to the Bandit's lump, with revised fuel injection adding a bit more shove. And the chassis isn't a million miles away from the Bandit either, bodywork aside. But the way the GSX works as a package is pretty impressive.
Charging round the incredible roads near Beziers, the little 650 has been a real treat. It has a spunky, torquey motor in a capable road chassis. There's enough performance for experienced riders to have a ball on, while remaining manageable for novices. Indeed, pushing the GSX towards its limits on the roads we've been on today has been more satisfying in some ways than a proper sportsbike would have been.
“Best of all, the GSX is a cheap pleasure: £4,999 of your English pounds is the list price, and that's a pretty impressive pounds/laughs ratio.”
