The Royal British Legion Riders Charity Run

On Monday, 17th December 2007, about 30 members of the Royal British Legion Riders Branch rode from across the UK to deliver Christmas presents to British and Commonwealth patients at the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre at Headley Court near Leatherhead, Surrey.

John Pease Motorcycles donated several leather jackets for an auction that was held near the end of the festivities. The Jackets were auctioned off with assistance from James May (Top Gear presenter) and a grand total of £10,0000 was raised on the day for the 'Help For Heroes Fund'.

One of the aims of the Help For Heroes Fund is to improve facilities and accommodation at Headley Court.

John Pease Motorcycles are proud to be associated with such a worthy cause. The Royal British Legion Riders website can found via the LINKS' section of the John Pease Motorcycles's website.
